Why creators miss more than other freelancers
A designer buys a laptop and knows it is a business expense. A creator buys a camera, a ring light, a microphone, editing software, a second phone, props, and a trip to a shoot location, and half of it feels like personal spending because it happens at home and shows up on camera. The IRS sees it the same way it sees the designer: if it produces the income, it is deductible.
